How I spent the holiday.
Took my compensatory off yesterday (31st). The family usually goes to the cemetery at the end of October; just as to not go with the crowd on the 1st.
I can still remember those times when I was really really young; my mom would make loads of preparations for the "undas"... We'd sleep early 'cause we'd wake up like 4am or even earlier to get to the cemetery. We'd leave the house when it was still dark; we'd get to the cemetery and still, it's dark. I dunno, but I found those times really fun when I was young; I'd stuff my backpack with stuff like books, stuff toys, gameboy...and Joes would bring his boggle (he didn't let me play though, he thought I was too young and dumb to join. haha). My favorite tita (Tita Millet) was still single then; she was really fun to be with though sometimes she'd be mean at me. hahaha.
Well time has changed; My tita is in the States right now.. Joes and I got tired to going to the cemetery...It wasn't as fun anymore. There were times that we didn't really feel like going, so we didn't come with them...we'd stay at home and watch tv instead. It had been like that for about 5 years already..I think. Gasp. Not all habits last forever I suppose.
But this year's different. Joes and I did come with them to the cemetery. Well, we did it for mum. It's lolo's 1st year death anniversary, so yeah...

we're the only fun people around!
Thank the gods for the ipod. hehe. We arrived at the cemetery around 12nn, just in time for lunch (I can't believe it; we used to be there before sunrise; and now we got there amidst the hottest time of the day). Well thanks to my tito who really, really took his time at the bank to talk crap about investing since he has plans (i think) of retiring here instead in the states.

one of the relatives. hahaha
We ate, chatted (what else could be done there aside from this?) and chatted...and got bored.
It was like 2:30pm when I finally couldn't take it anymore. I was bored. Ipod had no effect on me anymore.. My dose of pearl shake didn't shake off the heat of the sun. I can't sit still on my seat. I wanted to go home. Blahhhh.
I miss the old times....
Ohwell. Thank God dad brought his motorcycle with him; I asked mum if I could go home with dad...I was actually willing to ride in his motorcycle just to go home!=D Don't get me wrong, I don't have any fears of riding the motorcycle - I just don't want my hair to stink and feel sticky. But I really wanted to go so I did...
Wee. Joyride. It'll be the first time.=)
Before we left we went to the other grave of my grandpa - on my father's side. The first time I'd see his grave, just like grandpa's on mum's side. They died the same year. Grandpa from dad's side died when I was in Cebu. Okay I remembered something creeeeepy when that happened. I'll stop now I'm alone in my room (think happy thoughts Patty....!)
Moving on..so yeah riding in a motorcycle with my dad was quite an adventure..We weren't alone -my dad had 2 of his friends came over, and Joes brought his motorcycle as well...
It's really fun - minus the pollution and heat of the sun. I didn't have a jacket with me, I was wearing a sleeveless top, so imagine that.=p
When I got home dad said I can now join them on their trips, I'm okay daw - maybe he meant I didn't complain or anything. hehe.

I'm tougher than you even think.
I didn't even think of smelling my hair when I got home. But when I wiped my face with a tissue that's when the girly, kikay side of me started to kick in - EEW! Imagine: makeup + oil + pollution = eew talaga. haha. The color looked like mud. Yuck. I just rushed through the bathroom and scrubbed myself to death. hehe.
Well, at least I did something new this year on halloween..Not that boring eh?
Back to reality tomorrow to deal with more shit. hehehe.
Excuse me if I have any grammatical or typographical errors, I didn't bother proofreading this blog.=p
